Violet Archer(1913–2000)

Violet Archer wrote these six pieces for viola and piano. They are most easily found in the collection: Solos for Young Violists, Volumen 1, edited by Barbara Barber and published by Alfred Publishing. These six pieces feature different scales/modes, and different techniques, including con sordino and pizzicato.
