Elena Mendoza is a Spanish composer of contemporary classical music. Her studies took her to the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, where she studied with Hanspeter Kyburz. Mendoza also studied German linguistics in Sevilla, Spain, her homewotn. Her compositional oeuvre focuses on timbre and dramaturgical inquiry.
